Introduction: In Sri Lanka, the lush tea country is divided by a chain of mountains which form the climatic divide of the island into a Western and Eastern region. Ceylon Black Tips is an Orange Pekoe (OP) Grade, and comes from the Bogawantalwa Valley in the Dimbulla region with elevation ranging from 1100 to 1300 metres. This estate is renowned for the production of quality organic black teas. Ceylon Black Tips is made from long tip leaves, and has a full bodied, sweet flavor. The tea can be enjoyed with or without milk. This tea estate is ISO 9001:2000 certified.
